Deok-su is the gangster and the bully in the show.
He is the Black Hat SEO, gaining rankings in the short term By Keyword Stuffing, using Private Blog Networks, Invisible text, Cloaking and so on.
He’s a cheater and will do anything to win.
But he is punished and loses in the end to the ones that play by the rules.
The Front Man, also known as In-ho.
He is Sundar Pichai in the real life game called Google.
The CEO.
Just like In-ho, Sundar makes sure everything runs well. He is also in charge of making sure the VIP’s (Board of Directors) are well taken care of. And he answers to the shareholders.
Han Mi-nyeo is a loud and obnoxious character that no one really likes. She manipulates players.
In the game of Google, she is the bad SEO agency who puts their own interests ahead of their customers.
They have no intention, nor ability to rank your site high on top of Google.
Only after months of no results do we learn that they are the weakest link in your SEO strategy.
Get rid of them.
Seong Gi-Hun is the winner of the game. He wins with a little help from his friends, and a lot of luck.
He gets to the top position of Google Page 1 and beats all the 455 other competitors. One day at a time. He wins all the money.
Be like Gi-Hun. Learn from your mistakes. Listen to those wiser than you. And persist until you win!
