My nephew worked in one of the first "Fab Labs" at a community college back in 2008. Obama did a tour through it--and my nephew demonstrated to the Big O how 3D printers work. Pretty cool. It's neat that these took off and now there are a lot all over for people to create their own DIY stuff!

That is cool. And to meet a President!

He was pretty chill about it (at the grave old age of, maybe 23) and actually I think now it was 2009. We have photos of course. And Obama was really interested in the process. When the head of the college said let's move along, O said, hold on, and waited to hear more of what Noah was explaining. One of Noah's friends took a video, it's cool. My other nephew (another sibling's kid) is working in the Harris campaign as deputy digital director. Needless to say, today is ----- outa this world for him. Pins and needles. He's been living at Reagan Intl these past 6 wks--flying everywhere. Fingers crossed.

Nice! There is a dude next town over who runs a makers substack. So … about me, I’ve been eyeing these old school IBM clickety-clackety keyboards. Not homemade but some assembly required. What do you think, worth it? https://www.modelfkeyboards.com

I like the tactile feel. I would get it if I were you. Very cool!
