My nephew worked in one of the first "Fab Labs" at a community college back in 2008. Obama did a tour through it--and my nephew demonstrated to the Big O how 3D printers work. Pretty cool. It's neat that these took off and now there are a lot all over for people to create their own DIY stuff!
