I often just skim, when I have time to check it out. But I love that it's there! I guess my question for you is -- are you enjoying (re)creating it? If it's lost the magic or has become a burden of some sort, then taking a break sound wise. I know sharing something we work on and having little feedback can be enthusiasm-deflating, but often the fun of putting it all together makes it worth it. That's where I'd draw my line in the sand.

Thanks for your well written answer. Love the feedback, Steve!
Because I taught the novel a few years ago, I've read it several times. Always see something I didn't see before. Thanks Paul.
Thanks for the feedback, Jim! I love your comments on the novel, which are in the first posts comments. (https://pau1.substack.com/p/frankenstein/comments).
