Hey Mitchell, I'm part of the team at Pickaxe. People want to build specialized pickaxes aimed at very specific tasks. In the example of a business course, they want to create one that specializes in writing a pitch email and one that specializes in creating a budget proposal. General purpose pickaxes can do many things, but specialized pickaxes excel at one specific task. A good analogy would be the specialization of functions in larger programs. You want to break down the functions as much as possible.
