I'm absolutely appalled and dismayed that not one of them mentioned art in any form, whether visual, musical, physical, or performance. So much for STEM.
If it were me, I'd say, Life is art, live artfully.
Thanks for the links. I do agree about the bro-guru thing - I can't believe how many buff, bald men are foisting their videos on every platform, telling me what to do. After almost 80 years of living just fine, I think I can do without them - I delete them all. And I really do not like bald.
I was sorry to begin to read the first story - it's so easy to denigrate someone - I refuse to read articles like that. If one day he turns into a serial killer, I'll care. For now tho, he's just one more man trying to make a difference for people, and who others will target with accusations - whether true or not, who is to say?
I remember when one guy back in the 80s got thrown in jail for 2 ppl dying at one of his retreats - now, THAT is where I sit up and take notice. Until then, it's one man's word against another and their myriad supporters.
Can't we just get along, without telling each other to take tons of pricey shit and work out and stand on our heads gargling peanut butter? I'm so tired of the hype.
I agree, some are fine, but like you say - should expect more from the big names. Perhaps they needed some time to think about the answers. Your rewrite (Huberman) is perfect!

Yours is great, Angela!
As 'influencer' culture goes, some of these are awful.
I rewrote Andrew Huberman's to read: 'Use your mind to control women.'
I'm curious - I don't know Huberman - why would you change his like you did? Is that what he does?
Here is a recent article: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/mar/28/podcaster-andrew-huberman-goop-for-bros

Great point! Tim Ferriss is cool, but Huberman - not so much.

I think he should have given some of his guests a bit more thinking time.
‘Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans’ - John Lennon.
A beauty from John.

Jesus had a swimmers body 🤣
I love this list Paul. I’m not sure what mine would be, it feels like high pressure to figure it out! I’ll see if something comes to me.
No pressure, Donna...
“It’s going to be harder to do than you think right now. Do it anyway.”
I think that may be a mashup of stuff I heard from others. But I made it better.
I like that!
Mine would be: You're going to die.
No one gets outta here alive...
