Wow! There is so much value in this newsletter, thank you! I wish I read this earlier on in my substack journey. I joined back in June 2022 and I struggle with my perfectionism/self-doubt so much which leads me to only post a newsletter once a month. Your tips are so useful. :)
Thanks so much. Your comments mean a lot! We are all on this journey together, and we all have similar feelings about life stuff. NOBODY is perfect. But everybody is unique.
But we do have things in common. We all have doubts, but, so what? How do we learn? By trying things that don't always work, then learning from that. I wrote an article about imposter syndrome you may like. Thank you for reading, and commenting, Shreya! https://pau1.substack.com/p/imposter-syndrome
The fact that you even have a Substack is such a testament to your strength! It's so difficult to write on the internet --especially with the double-whammy of perfectionism/self-doubt. Keep on keeping on!
You were right! I did like this :) I'm such a sucker for writers who are able to break down their process into discrete, reproducible steps. I'm bookmarking this post for later. Definitely going to return to it again and again! Thank you!
Sometimes I feel myself falling down a rabbit hole, then grabbing all the shiny new pennies that are strewn around. It's a curse, really. This post, however, offers some carrots that I'm eager to munch on. Thanks for sharing Rob's writing process. Let the 5 minute timer and Mozart begin.

You are so right. I read this article last night you mentioned and it's exactly what I needed to read.

So helpful. Thank you both.
Thanks Frederick! I'm sure Rob concurs.

I like shiny pennies too! Thanks for commenting, Heather!
These are a lot of steps. Pretty much gets into the nuts and bolts of it. I'll definitely bookmark this. Thanks for sharing Rob's writing process.
Yes, he has quite a process. I do like to put on some LoFi music while writing also...
