I found this interesting, Paul. I can't see which scan pattern I use most. But I don't like having to scan. Depends on how things are piling up. If I don't read the article or story, I know I'm missing out.
I find it hard to read some 1000 plus word articles all the way through. Unless they are broken up with short words, sentences, paragraphs, illustrations, lists and so on. I can read a book all right, but I seem to have to take this short cut scanning when reading the internet. Maybe it's a time management thing?
