Tough to know where to start! Great idea, and for a reasonable price (starting at $149). I noticed no physical stores are stateside, although I know online ordering is available.
I wonder if there'll be (somewhere) a 10-year-old little Clivey Davis down the street who buys a dozen of these, sets himself up a cutting factory in Mom's laundry room, writes a couple of songs, makes himself some records, and sells 'em at school or on eBay (and provides promo copies to radio, of course)!
The publishing/clerical nightmare alone! Pretty amazing, actually! I can imagine a little 10-year-old me being fascinated by such a machine, and somehow plotting something like the above to, at least, attempt!🎵⏺Thanks for sharing, Paul!
I think back to a time when I would have cut all the lawns in the neighborhood to get a 'toy' like this. There are tons of digital solutions to doing your own recordings, but there is something about this analog tech that is very alluring. "I just released my own album". Thanks for commenting, Brad!
65 days 'til Christmas. Better let my family know there's still time!
It is pretty cool !
Very interesting. Cute little thing. Apparently, a lot of people wanted it. It's not available anymore.
