My daughter played a game against Sabrina Ionescu in high school. Her team was stacked with players recruited to play from outside the area. I think they made their parents coach or something to get around it? I’m not sure; big high school drama. It was a rivalry game against a school 10 mins away, but it was no contest. Most of the time we couldn’t even get the ball across half court and their coach didn’t let up the press until the end of the game. Ended 70-something to 10-something. It was sh*tty for the kids
For sure, coach had huge Napoleon complex. Thing I learned was to be a Sabrina or a Caitlin you have to be playing with an elite group even before high school. Expect it's that way in Canada as well, at least for hockey?
Wow, talk about dreams realized!
Thanks for commenting, Sherman! Yes she was like Nostradamus:)
