Dang, I wanted to buy the car, just for the "screenwriting" alone! Then, I noticed it was a 5-year-old ad! I'm hoping he sold it, and now, I feel so attached, I wonder if it's still "out there," somewhere!🚗😢
My brother spent his life as an automobile mechanic. He still runs a garage in Chatham Ontario. He drove a Toyota Avalon with more than 400,000 kilometres on it. There was some truth in that ad.
Well, as writers, we can certainly appreciate some well-crafted, humorous copy! Especially coming from "the private sector" and possibly someone who's not a pro writer, mad props to "a regular guy" waxing brilliant to sell his car!!
I just hope my 2010 Chevy HHR, with 125,000 mi (sorry, I have no idea what the km conversion rate is!----I mean, that 400,000 number, to me, just sounds like a big number!!) on it still has some giddyup in its life....I plan on riding it till it drops.....or I do, whichever comes first!
