Fascinating. I think I'll take a nap today.

Me, too! Only, darn the luck, I'm without a ball, a spoon, or anything else that might fit neatly in my hand! Now, where's that couch?

Perfect, I'm only half awake when I try to write in the morning already, this should be super easy to try out.

I love picturing both these wild characters, wildly different from each other, summoning sleep to pick their own brains clean. Thanks, Paul, also for recently picking me up as a rec... Grateful!

A heightened state of N1 can be reached if you fall asleep holding a slice of buttered toast.

Wow. So I'll be more creative if I wake myself up as I'm falling asleep.....but I'll get a terrible nap....πŸ€ͺ🀣 Very cool, Paul.

Love it! I'm a great fan of dreams and journaling. I find that when I wake up and clearly remember a dream or a segment and stay in bed a little bit and in a semi lucid state, I have a lot of creative ideas come from that, when I'm journaling. If I fall back to sleep into a deep sleep it is hard to recall anything. I Imagine the semi lucid state is somewhat akin to what they're referring to in the article is N1. Anyway it's all fun and games and I love It. Thanks
