Wow, a lot of shade being thrown at Substack creators. LOL I think Pressfield is talking about marketing materials. Substack is not as "bloggy" as Out There, or as Medium.com. True, all writers could benefit from taking a more critical look at their drafts.
I think the real problem on Substack is simply not having enough time to read all the good stuff on offer!
"NOBODY WANTS TO READ YOUR SH*T"
This hurts so good. Thanks, Paul.
Really good reminder to keep your focus on giving some value to the reader..
This should be required reading for any creator!
Helpful. Thanks!
For those who enjoyed the movie’300’ you will love “Gates of Fire”. It’s the intellectual companion to that movie.
I like this, thanks! A great reminder to sharpen the editing skills.
...i'd leave a comment sure but am unsure if anyone needs to read this shit...

Excellent!! I’m glad I read this shit, Paul!!
It's true, Paul. That's why my Substack offerings are limited in length to the time it takes for an average dump. OK, crass but true.
This should be a compulsory read for anyone writing on Substack.
