I'm using text to image software to make pictures. You type a "prompt" to tell the software what it is you want. Here is an example prompt from the current Frankenstein newsletter.
"The year is 1825 in Geneva. Illustrate the impending storm metaphorically, using celestial imagery. Show a dark and foreboding sky filled with swirling clouds, lightning, and perhaps an eclipsed or turbulent moon. Use bold and dramatic colors to convey the sense of an imminent and overwhelming danger, symbolizing the challenges and hardships that await the main character. --ar 16:9 --q 2 --s 250 --v5.1"
I use another ai software to come up with some of the wording for the prompts by choosing a passage from the text of the story and ask ChatGPT (text to text software) to illustrate the idea. It is fascinating, and takes about an hour per chapter to illustrate. Thanks for the question!
I've been enjoying the images you have been using on Deplatformable...since you first started getting into it! Are you using Midjourney for the actual images? They really are fantastic!
Are you creating all of the images? They are amazing.
