It’s a bit like sitting in traffic! Some people get frantic and start changing lanes and getting grumpy. Others just accept and apply lipgloss. I’m in the lipgloss tribe!

Hahaha I had no idea this is how they spelled conniption. I know the word but have never written it or Googled it 😁

Also, solid advice here. I could use a lesson in patience most days.

Haha Kristi, same here! While I’ve heard it used, mostly by the women in my family, my entire life, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it in print. Ironically warms the heart. πŸ˜†

I started beta-testing this on myself years ago, when spending a ridiculous amount of time waiting in doctors’ offices. Put the phone down, put the pissy away, sit and find contentment in the sterility, the occasional beeps and blinks, the absence of control. It’s now one of my favorite things to do… true story. (PS, it’s a multi-purpose tool 🧰)

Great advice, Paul! There is, dare I sayπŸ˜€, a flip side- for some people, they may need to learn how to get appropriately angry.

My measured responses have increased as I age ... and I'm really, really old. ;-)
