Sure thing. I was wondering about using images in a fiction post. After seeing you and a few others do so, decided to give it a whirl and I think it adds to the story. Especially since I am fond of walls of words.

Thanks for commenting, Angela. I use AI software called Midjourney to make the pictures from text prompts. Midjourney is just over a year old, and one of the things it does not generate are words. At this point. 4 months ago people would have 3 arms and hands would often have 6 or 7 fingers per hand. That has been solved now, but text and words is still a problem. I leave it in the pics as they are rendered.

Indeed. I've found that Dall-E (aka Microsoft Edge Copilot) has gotten much better. I rendered images for a story I posted here a few days ago and needed an image for a bar on another planet called Sharkey’s. Much to my delight, it worked.

Nice. I'm not too concerned about the images being perfect. As long as they have a decent representation to break up the wall of words. Thanks for the comment, Ryan.

I get it. I'm just a grammar snob, I guess! Makes me crazy, that terribly wronged apostrophe. Imagine how it feels, totally in the wrong place . . .

Kidding -

I love your posts, BTW - the One Thing ones, esp. You always come up with the coolest stuff!

I think a writer should understand and use grammar rules properly too. Thank you Angela! Your kind comments make it all worthwhile!

Aw! It's not all THAT bad, is it?

I have a surprise for you - how can I get it to you? (jpg)
