I worked at Swensen's ice cream parlor during the LA Olympics in 1984. I'd get off work at around 1am and the only thing left open was Fatburger. I'd get the egg burger 'everything on!' as my buddy the fry cook would yell when he saw me. They fried the egg in these little rings to fit perfectly on the burger. It was very delicious.

I endorse making these a little shorter - so much good stuff!

"...Frank Lloyd Wright's Chicago Midway Gardens complex, which only lasted from 1914 to 1929, "was so solidly constructed that tearing it down sent the wrecking company into bankruptcy.".." soooo - why did they tear it down???

Thanks for making this shorter - I appreciate that. Now you can do more of them with the left overs.

Did Chuck Norris really contact you??? (Texas once built a massive bridge and named it after Chuck Norris. About 15 minutes after the bridge opened to the public, they immediately closed the bridge and renamed it when they realized that no one crosses Chuck Norris and lives. )

I don't know why they tore it down. I thought the bankruptcy part was the interesting fact. LOL. No, Chuck did not contact me. But I love your joke! Thanks.

apparently "...Frank Lloyd Wright's Midway Gardens was demolished in 1929 due to financial difficulties, World War I, and Prohibition."

Financial difficulties

The gardens struggled financially from the start, and the owner went bankrupt in 1916...."

He designed hundreds of buildings - 511 built, only 430 left standing. What a shame to tear down his work.

So your saying (fatbergs) my plunger is useless?

Can't reply to that comment Jim. I haven't seen your 'plunger'...

Distilling a life onto a website in weeks was interesting...but there's no way I can do that. I live more life by 7 am than most people do all day. Now, the fact that the 5 top bands of all time rocked my world as I was growing up is awesome (except the Beatles -- I still don't get why people like their music).

Thanks for your comments! Sounds like you may need an hourly calendar website. When I was younger I didn't love the Beatles. But by the time I was 64, I had a great affection for them...

Hmmm...your appreciation for the Beatles concerns me about my future (laughing emoji).
