Another great passel o' facts, Paul! Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert, who (with John Denver) wrote "Take Me Home, Country Roads," were also married through the '70s, and part of The Starland Vocal Band, who dared to bring us the #1 hit, "Afternoon Delight" (which Danoff himself, wrote), in 1976!
The more you know............and, TV used to tell us, "Knowing's half the battle!"😁👍
I worked in a marketing design firm where lorem ipsum was as ubiquitous as coffee. Fun to know that it translates into ...something. As always you amaze me at all the cool things you share.
I always wondered what the Latin text actually said - but was way too lazy to look it up! So funny - "That beating you soften large and less trouble. In the fireball there is no element of time will not be avenging Moors...."
I think the placeholder text is my favorite. I always thought it was some well-known Latin phrase. The Mike Rowe video was funny as was the guy posing as the father. I wonder what the real father thought of it. : )
It's really overwhelming. So much learnt. Thanks for this. I think my favourite was the candy bar showroom. However, the information about the best posting times on social media also greatly interested me. I wish YouTube was included though.
Speaking of odd things - you'll love this, Paul - https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/83472/11-rare-old-words-heinous-and-villainous
Thanks for the article link. Very interesting, old words!
did you see the links under the article? more goodies!
I didn't...but I will now!
Now I have some homework. Thanks for the 100's more words to peruse...!

Thank you for your support. You are the reason I enjoy Substack like I do 😄
You published this at 6:01, yet kept closely guarded from the rest of us the best time to publish on Substack. Just sayin’…
It's a crapshoot. Doesn't really matter, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What an idea 💡! “Hi, I’m a stalker, can I come in and shoot a few pics?”
I know almost nothing about Greenland. I've got to visit there!
It would be a cool trip:)

Glad you like it. Here is an article that talks about posting YouTube videos. https://www.wordstream.com/blog/ws/2023/08/08/best-time-to-post-on-youtube
It's much appreciated.
Why aren't those logos copywriteable? Wow that's a long word
There is a writeup about these and much more: https://w2.unisa.ac.za/commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons_Threshold_of_originality.html
Talk to you tomorrow.
Lots of good stuff, but I enjoyed learning about the placeholder text. Always wondered about this but never Googled it, so... thanks!
Glad you are enjoying the newsletter. Thank you for commenting and sharing!
I'll keep these tips in mind next time I'm being eaten by a bear.
I think we want to avoid a situation where that possibility may take place. 😃
Hope you're feeling better now...
