I read online that fathers hope to allow their children to sleep in the illusion that this planet is not overrun with humans and we tend to pick someone not like US to be removed as a service to folks who are like US I am less idealistic. Everyone who can survive is right and everyone that dies premaurely is wrong. Simple. No points fot clever, just the facts as they continue to be propagated, all over this too small planet. We each are mortal. Some want to pretend we are here for eternity, but, if you are buried or feed the local inhabitants of the oceans or freshwater lakes and rivers, I think it is only direct observation that you are no longer among us. Nobody ever stays more than a few centuries. Som perish before birth. Neither are things to fear. We die. Even me, who recently passed 77 and a half years, despite visiting an actual war for a year when a million people, or more, died per annum. Any annum. for a few decades. We like to carefully count those on "our side" and igore the vast numbers that excludes. If you die from bullets of fires or bomb blasts, you are dead. Just like if you stumble down the stairs and land wrong.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll have to wait even longer than 6 months to get your cash from the baby bandits. Their little cartilage kneecaps don't get to be bone until they are between 2 and 6 years old... sometimes later than that. By then they'll be more than a match for you, anyway.
...well seger gets the win for me this week...unbelievable to think such a longstanding legend might only have that one #1...i bet he turned the page, snarfed down a lucy blue cheeseburger, and kept working and practicing on his night moves to find the fire inside...here is another fun fact...shakedown isnt even on his greatest hits...
Another great compendium of factoidal info, Paul! With your mention of fellow Texan, Matthew McConaughey, I'm contractually bound to mention my article about having worked 3 nights (as a "background artist") on his "The Newton Boys" film from 1998, co-starring Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Skeet Ulrich, and directed by another fellow Texan, Richard Linklater! The film was shot in and around Austin.
Well, I never promised you things were logical.

So, which fact did you like the best, Alan?
I like thinking I know for sure that my judgement is simply not very important. Neither is anyone else's. Words are useful, occasionally. Not always.
"As you are reading this, 56 million people in the world are drunk!"
Well, that's sobering news.
👍

Bad news for some...Not me! I love little bandits. Great comment!
I like this - A jiffy is a real unit of time – 1/100th of a second to be precise.
Thanks for your comment Jeanette. And it only took a jiffy!
A jiffy of time is a real thing. Now I know!
We all know...now:)

didn't know that about shakedown. Jeez CansaFis you are still the same, man. Like a rock...
Amazing! Thanks to you, I just added my podcast's RSS feed to my YouTube channel...hope to get more listeners, too!
Nice! YouTube has the 2nd best search engine for discoverability. Try to optimize the Title and Description with keywords that people will search for.
Three generations of punishment! Descendants born into slavery - holy cow! Talk about harsh, my lord!
Yea, probably not going to N. Korea to do some crimes...
LOL! "Let's go to NK," they said, "It will be fun," they said . . .
Love that Bob Seger song!
I do like Bob Seger!
That waste of perfectly good baseballs in MLB has always bugged me
I never knew before.

In the article, you'll discover which part of my body Matthew touched (and with which hand! It was "alright alright alright"!), and get a peek into the make-up trailer with Ethan and me!👉https://bradkyle.substack.com/p/schmoozing-on-location-with-ethan?utm_source=publication-search

Thank you Andrea!
