I love it that they're naming it the Gordie Howe bridge. He's one of my hockey heros. Many years ago I played in a charity game "against" him and a bunch of other senior retired NHL players. He was funny and gracious and hung around until he had signed every kid's program.
Hmmmm........Crocodiles can, indeed, gallop like a horse, Paul, but I happen to know they prefer to canter, with an occasional trot, but really just for show.
Plus, I always figured the fruit was named after the color orange, and I was ready to blame a lazy fruit-namer for just shrugging and settling for such a simple solution. Like, what's next, naming a banana, a yellow? A coconut, a burnt sienna? Glad you cleared that up, though!
I've also wondered about the blue flakes in my laundry detergent (despite the fact that I use a liquid), but what about the blue flakes in my Wheaties?
As for Chuck Norris, little known was his marriage to Cloris Leachman. As you might imagine, she simply refused to be known as Cloris Norris. At least, that's what Chuck's brother once reported.....yep, Boris Morris Norris.
Don't laugh.......I don't even play, but many years ago, when I borrowed a friend's guitar for a quick sec, and started to strum, he must've thought I played as good as the greats, like Atkins.....he must have, 'cause he said quite plainly, "Man, put that thing down! You play like Chet!"
I love that we don't understand how AI works 👀

He was one of the greats for sure. That's cool that you met and played wth him!
I lived in Saskatoon a long time ago, and Mr. Hockey grew up there. His ashes are buried under his statue outside of SaskTel Centre, downtown.
Sounds like the Greeks and Japanese government bookkeepers are as efficient as ours (the U.S.). I assume your P.M. has all this stuff well in hand?
I wouldn't bet on it...
Those crocs…. I find they always refuse the fences, though 🙂
They can also climb trees (true).
literally wild...
...always so many hits in here...galloping crocs for the win today on my end...
Thanks CansaFis!
Crocs can gallop? How about that!
Now you know! Thanks for commenting, Donna!
This one made me laugh out loud:
When Chuck Norris lifts dumbbells, they get smarter.
(snort!)
That's perfect. Thanks.

OK, I'm done...........you'll be happy to hear!😃👍
Awesome! LOL Show crocs is a big thing somewhere? And who hasn't wondered about the blue flakes...
You’ve inspired/shamed me to play all my guitars at least one per day in rotation…..thanks a pantload, Chet

My favorite Wayne’s World quote….
Love that guitar image.
Yes, I would watch that movie if you made it. I love the big monster films like Kong vs. Godzilla.
That's an interesting Motown list!
Thank you, Ellen! Appreciate the comments.
