Canada seems to have a real advantage in the Pizza Vending Machine Business.
I have interviewed a few of these businesses, and have determined that the Canadian company, PizzaForno from Ontario, is the best opportunity for the future of Pizza in North America! (so far).
It is operating with 36 locations, and is now taking licensing applications for locations all across Canada and the USA.
They have a couple of restaurants in Detroit as well, so they are already in the US market. Detroit is the head office for Dominos Pizza, and Little Caesars Pizza. Buddyβs Pizza, Happyβs Pizza, and others.
You can integrate these Pizza Vending Machines into an existing Restaurant, a Stand Alone Store, a Kiosk, on a Food Truck, or even free standing in a Parking Lot or Alleyway. So customers can get a great Artisanal Pizza in 3 Minutes.

Another pizza βplayerβ based out of the US: Piestro has secured more than half a billion dollars in partnerships,. They have the goal to build and operate up to 500 locations in Canada through a partnership with βFast Fired by Carboneβ.
Add to that, they have an arrangement in the USA with 800 Degrees Pizza, the international pizza brand by renowned chef Anthony Carron. The global chain aims to expand its footprint with a projected 3,600 Piestro units over the next five years, which would represent a commercial value of over $530M.
Original: Piestro, a US company has been trying to get funding for a working model of their Robot Pizza making machine. They have spent years trying to overcome hurdles which have proven to be hard to overcome:

The Choice for Canadians
The Canadian alternative, Pizza Forno, is using a tried and tested French built machine which works and does more than the others.
Here are a couple of slides showing some advantages of this offering:

So there is some literal food for thought. The head office is quite keen on helping this business to become a success. This is not a franchise model.
With 36 locations up and running, their marketing and support seems to be working great!
After chatting with their Director of Licensee Development, I have no problem helping this company find some Western Canadian locations.
Pizza Forno is a subsidiary of the largest Canadian supplier of specialty foodservice equipment and programs. They work with virtually every major foodservice operator and thousands of independent outlets.
Iβll be watching the growth of this new industry and business opportunity.
