Sometimes you don’t have the time to read all the pages in a book. This list is mostly non-fiction book reviews and summaries.
I read through these sites when I want to know about a book before I buy it. There are quite a few overlapping reviews and summaries.
Everybody wants to read the James Clear book, “Atomic Habits”. Or Stephen King’s “On Writing“.
Chances are the gist of a non-fiction book may be enough to read to either persuade you to read the whole book, be content with the summary, or pass it up all together.
The following list of 10 best book summary websites has thousands of books (maybe many hundreds - I didn’t count them all). A good reference for writers, because writers are readers.

I don’t know if it would fit in the top 10, however I’ve used it, found it v useful to get some flavour and a lot of gist… and I’ve found or more I get a feeling that a lot of the promoted reviews are of books which contain views that the list’s curators wish to promote… I’m not selling this v well… it’s a good resource… partially not completely free
