I Built a New Start Page

And you can have it too!

I’ve been using this start page in Chrome since I got my laptop last year. It looks like this:

Here is how I feel about this start page:
Pros:

• has my Gmail box accessible as well as one Google search engine

Cons:

• Dominant text is an ad for Google

• only allows 10 Bookmarks

• not easy to customize

• just one search engine

So I built a new one. And added the features I wanted.

• One click access to 17 search engines

• Personalize the Background changer (from your photo app, or plain dark mode)

• Unlimited number of Bookmarks

• G-Mail Bookmark (right click on Chrome’s Home Page for URL to add to your new Bookmark).

  You can save it on your bookmark tab, and use it for your own. Add whatever picture you like, add your special bookmarks, add your Gmail, and hopefully you like it.
